Playson seems confident in churning out uninspired Megaways versions of their older games, although, to be fair, Buffalo Power Megaways is only the second effort with BTG’s licenced engine so far. Visually and featurewise it’s very similar to the original Buffalo Power Hold and Win, but you now get the benefit of up to 46,656 win ways.

That usually doesn’t make much of a dent to be honest, but it helps that both the potential, the RTP and the volatility has been upped a bit in this version. Payouts up to 4,806x were observed in 500 million spins, which is less than half the usual Megaways potential. The Streak Respins feature is pretty standard stuff, and so is the bonus round. Is it better than the forgettable original release. Yeah, sure, but it can hardly compete in the Megaways genre.
