Diamonds of the Realm is the 3rd slot in the volatile Arthurian series from Play’n Go, and it comes with 5 reels and 20 paylines. A multiplier up to x100 will trigger at random times, and boost any winnings on the triggering spin. You start with a x2 multiplier in the bonus round, and you’ll collect scatters to win extra spins and increase the multiplier up to x100. This can lead to payouts up to 20,000x your stake.

Diamonds of the Realm Review
The backstory of this game is explained in the intro screen, and basically King Arthur’s arch-enemies, Morgan and Mordred, have stolen the Queen’s diamonds. Diamonds of the Realm is thus all about retrieving these precious stones, and this is done by collecting diamond scatters to get extra spins and increase the multiplier in the bonus round.
The visuals are top notch as usual from this developer, and the game sticks out with a unique female vocal soundtrack. The formula of 5 starting free spins with increasing multiplier tiers has had decent success so far, and it works well in this installment too. Time will tell if Play’n Go is satisfied with a trilogy, or if the highly volatile medieval Arthurian saga continues.
Diamonds of the Realm Slot - Reels ScreenDiamonds of the Realm Features
The wild symbol can land on any reel, and it steps in for all regular pay symbols to help you form winning combinations. The wild is also worth the same as the top-tier King Arthur symbol, awarding 100x your stake for 5 on a payline.

You’ll see a circle of multipliers above the reels, and the Multiplier feature may trigger at any given time in the base game. It will boost your win on the triggering spin with a randomly chosen multiplier of x2, x5, x10 or x100, and this can lead to payouts up to 10,000x your stake.
The Bonus Round is triggered when you land at least 3 diamond scatters anywhere on the same spin, and this awards 5 free spins with a starting multiplier of x2. The bonus round is all about collecting diamond scatters in the meter above the reels, as this awards extra spins and increase the win multiplier according to 3 tiers:
- Level 2 (6 diamonds collected) - awards +5 extra spins and a x5 multiplier.
- Level 3 (12 diamonds collected) - awards +5 extra spins and a x10 multiplier.
- Level 4 (18 diamonds collected) - awards +5 extra spins and a x100 multiplier.
If you reach level 4, no more diamond scatters will land, so there is no way to prolong the feature with more spins at this point.
By the way, the 3+ triggering diamond scatters are collected in the meter to give you a head start. The 200 Spins Diamonds of the Realm Experience
We had some wins here and there in the base game, but nothing of significance happened before we triggered the bonus round. We land 3 diamond scatters at 1:13 into the 3-minute highlights video, and you can see how we fared by hitting the play button below.
Review Summary
The King Arthur trilogy has come full circle with this release, as the game is very similar to Play’n Go’s first installment, The Sword and The Grail. Instead of a random wild multiplier up to x100, you get a random multiplier up to x100 in Diamonds of the Realm. It’s not so often you hear vocals in a slot soundtrack, so kudos for daring to be different with a celtic song that’s pleasing to the ears.
You will not see the x100 multiplier very often in the base game, and not in the bonus round either, for that matter. It can do serious damage to the tune of 10,000x per spin when it shows up however, and 20,000x is the max win potential in the bonus round.
This is twice what’s on offer in the 2 previous installments, and it’s as good an excuse as any to prefer this game.Pros
- Random multiplier up to x100
- x2, x10 & x100 FS multiplier tiers
- Win up to 20,000x your stake
Cons
- Beware of adjustable RTP ranges
If you love Diamonds of the Realm you should also try:
The Sword and The Grail - is Play’n Go’s first installment in the King Arthur series, and it comes with a random multiplier wild up to x100 in the base game. You’ll collect scatters to climb the bonus round tiers, and the top level comes with nothing but x100 multiplier wilds. This can lead to payouts up to 10,000x your stake.
The Green Knight - is the second installment in Play’n Go’s Arthurian saga, and it also comes with a wild multiplier up to x100. The 5-spin bonus round cycles through all multiplier tiers, with a guaranteed multiplier wild per spin. This can lead to payouts up to 10,000x your stake.
300 Shields Extreme - is a NextGen release with a theme clearly inspired by the epic Spartan war movie 300. It comes with a similar scatter collecting 3-tier bonus round, where you get +5 extra spins per tier and will benefit from up to x300 multiplier warrior wilds. This can lead to payouts up to 17,770x your stake.
